SafanDarley will showcase a wide range of products for sheet metal forming at FABTECH 2017, in Chicago.
E-Brake Ultra
SafanDarley introduced the 4th generation of the servo electric E-Brake called Ultra. The Ultra is available in 56, 90, 112 and 146 US tons and in 6, 8, 10 and 13.6 ft. The newly designed Ultra series comes standard equipped with CNC crowning as well as a dual touch screen monitor to create a paperless environment. Optionally the E-Brake Ultra can be equipped with a 3D back gauge and the E-Bend L Blue laser angle measurement system.

H-Brake Hybrid
At FABTECH 2017, SafanDarley will also introduce the H-Brake Hybrid, the new energy saving hydraulic press brake. These H-Brakes are equipped with an innovative hybrid drive; a combination of hydraulics and electronics. The system delivers huge energy savings, has very low-noise levels, and uses only a fraction of the typical amount of oil.
The new Hybrid drive combines economy with high precision and performance. The hybrid drive is only operational when actively bending thus the pump will stop in the intervening period. This Hybrid drive principle also ensures lower operating costs because the oil lasts longer in the hybrid system. Oil change and routine service intervals are typically 7000 hours. Additionally, the Hybrid has a standard 20 inch gap in the side frames for optimal flexibility.
E-Brake robot cell
During FABTECH Chicago we will showcase a 100% servo electronic press brake robot cell. The E-Brake 35T is equipped with a FANUC robot system and offers an efficient and effective solution to produce small complex products. This compact bending cell ensures flexible production of a wide variety of sheet metal products and is easy to program.

SafanDarley also present the new E-Bend L Blue laser angle measurement system. The E-Bend L Blue uses two blue laser sensors on each side of the table. The new blue laser sensors offer an important benefit compared to the usual red laser. Red laser light has an almost identical wavelength to natural light subjecting the measurement to noise. The blue light spectrum of the E-Bend L Blue is much easier to distinguish from natural light, therefore reflections and sunlight do not interfere with the measurement.
Autopol off line software
SafanDarley off-line 3D programming is offers a complete and reliable process management solution. The new generation, AutoPOL GT, has just been released. AutoPOL GT has been developed to be what is often referred to as hybrid software. It is built to be used efficiently with both a classic mouse and modern touch screen devices. In addition to the multiple user interface improvements there are also many enhancements and additions to the technical functionality and capabilities.
During FABTECH 2017 we will demonstrate the new AutoPOL off-line software. Furthermore, SafanDarley presents at FABTECH 2017, machines from the standard product range; such as the E-Brake 200T and the E-Brake 40T Ergonomic, which enables the operator and the press brake to work as a unit.
