SafanDarley organises a mountain bike tour for charity
On Saturday 30th September a group of business contacts joined SafanDarley in a sports event for charity.
SafanDarley organised a mountain bike tour for its customers. The money raised in registration fees was doubled and the entire amount was donated to the Fonds Gehandicaptensport (Dutch fund supporting sports for disabled persons).
Mountain bike tour
90 participants navigated a route through the hilly landscape of South Limburg. The tour kicked off from the Amstel Gold Race Xperience in Valkenburg. The participants could choose between a 35km or a 55km route depending on their level of fitness. The route travelled through unspoilt natural landscapes, and picturesque villages. The participants enjoyed a well-deserved break halfway along the route in Eijsden, at one of the SafanDarley production locations. On returning to Valkenburg, they had the opportunity to discuss the tour over a snack and a drink in an informal atmosphere.

Fonds gehandicapten Sport
€1,900 was collected for Fonds Gehandicaptensport. SafanDarley doubled this, bringing the grand total to €3,800. This donation was presented to the Fonds Gehandicaptensport before the start of the tour. The Fonds Gehandicaptensport endeavours to make sport available to anyone with a disability and to improve the range of sports activities on offer.
All participants and SafanDarley can look back on a very successful day with many positive memories.
