E-Brake Ultra series
During BlechExpo SafanDarley presents the high end generation press brakes, the E-Brake Ultra series. The Ultra series is characterised by a completely new design, is equipped with CNC crowning and has as standard a dual screen monitor helping to create a paperless environment. Options for the E-Brake Ultra include a 3D back gauge and the E-Bend L Blue laser angle measurement system.
Another option for the E-Brake Ultra series is the EC40 Smart software. In addition to EC20 functionality the EC40 Smart has the ability to read-in 3D drawings on a mobile device, to unfold and to carry out a bending simulation. Through "dock" the system can be synchronised with the machine control allowing data and the programme to be accessed in the EC20 and produced on the machine. This enables programming in 3D at the machine or at any other location.

H-Brake Hybrid series with E-Bend L Blue
SafanDarley also shows the H-Brake Hybrid series introduced in 2016. These H-brakes are equipped with an innovative hybrid drive; a combination of hydraulics and electronics. The system delivers huge energy savings has very low-noise levels and uses only a fraction of the usual amount of oil. The hybrid drive is only operational when actively bending. The pump stops in the intervening periods.
The H-Brake Hybrid can be equipped with the E-Bend L Blue angle measurement system. The E-Bend L Blue uses two blue laser sensors one each side of the table. The new blue laser sensors offer an important benefit compared to the usual red. Red laser light has an almost identical wavelength to natural light, which means the measurement is often affected by local conditions. The blue light spectrum of the E-Bend L Blue is much easier to distinguish from “natural” light, so reflections and sunlight do not interfere with the measurement.

E-Brake with large Q-dimension
During BlechExpo, we present an E-Brake 35T with an extremely large Q-dimension. As standard, the E-Brake 35T is equipped with a Q-size of 590 mm, the machine we show on the BlechExpo has Q-size of 1090 mm. The enlarged Q size gives the ability to bend products with high upright sides.
Autopol off line software
Since the AutoPOL simulation software was released early this century, it has been a leader in the off-line programming of press brake’s. A new generation, called AutoPOL GT, has just been released.
The software has been developed for efficient use with modern touchscreen equipment, which makes AutoPOL easy to program on a tablet. This makes the off-line simulation software suitable for the latest SafanDarley EC40 Smart control. In addition to multiple user interface improvements there are also many enhancements to the technical functionality.
SafanDarley will also present at BlechExpo machines from the standard range such as the M-Shear 310-6 with return to sender function.

On Saturday 30th September a group of business contacts joined SafanDarley in a sports event for charity. SafanDarley organised a mountain bike tour for its customers. The money raised in registration fees was doubled by SafanDarley and the entire amount was donated to the Fonds Gehandicaptensport (Dutch fund supporting sports for disabled persons).
SafanDarley will showcase a wide range of products for sheet metal forming at FABTECH 2017, in Chicago.
