Double pulley system

Addit Sp. z o.o., is a reliable sheet metal & contract manufacturer. Addit supplies sheet metal parts, modules, system and even complete devices to different market segments. The company has recently purchased and already uses one of the newest bending machine SafanDarley E-Brake 300T-4100 Ultra from our distributor Nixxon Steel. It will support the machinery park of Addit, which constantly strives for market’s bending requirements.
 
The new 100% servo-electric press brake has a pressing force up to 300 tons. This is possible due to the unique patented 'Dual Drive' drive with a double pulley system. The E-Brake 300T-4100 will be used to bend steel metal parts up to 3 mm thickness with a maximum length of 4100mm. The machine has also a stroke of 400 mm and an opening height of 790 mm.

In the search for a new press brake, the environmental requirements also played an important role to reduce CO2 emissions. The SafanDarley E-Brake Dual Drive only uses energy when the upper beam is actually moving. The new machine fits perfectly to the High Mix, Low Volume, High Complexity strategy of Addit.

Delivery and installation of the new press brake was in September, the machine is already in full production.
