What can you expect?

As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining and repairing our plate processing machines as well as training the end user. You will work from home and together with your colleagues both local and at the factory in the Netherlands, you will make sure our customers are served in a professional manner.

Within this position your activities include the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Installing new sheet metal processing machines at our customers and giving the corresponding work instructions;
• Carrying out (periodic) maintenance work and repairs on new and existing machines;
• Advising our customers for optimal usage of our machines, including possible upgrades
• Reporting about the performed activities in a detailed & professional manner
• Taking care of all provided tools such as; tools, parts, van and telephone

The Field service Engineer we are looking for has:

• Completed education with a specialisation in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics is desirable but training will be given.
• A passion for solving problems with machines and has no issue working under pressure directly with end users
• Worked several years as a field service engineer throughout the UK
• Ability to work independently without direct guidance
• Good communication skills in an technical and international environment at all levels.
• In possession of driving license
• A flexible and solution oriented attitude;

The ideal candidate lives in the area of Leicester. Youd workfield is mostly the east and the north of the UK.
