As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining and repairing our plate processing machines as well al training the end user. You will work from home and together with your colleagues both local and at the factory in the Netherlands, you make sure our the customer are served n a professional manner.

Within this position your activities include the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Installing new sheet metal processing machines at our customers and giving the corresponding work instructions;
• Carrying out (periodic) maintenance work and repairs on new and existing machines;
• Advising our customers for optimal usage of our machines, including possible upgrades;
• Reporting about the performed activities ins a detailed & professional manner;
• You take care of all provided tools such as; tools, parts, bus and telephone.

The Field service Engineer we are looking for has:

• Completed education with a specialisation is Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics;
• A passion for solving problems with machines and has no issue working under pressure directly with end users;
• Worked several years as a field service engineer throughout the UK;
• Knowledge and experience working with highly automated machines and/or robotics;
• Ability to work independently without direct guidance;
• Good communication skills in an technical and international environment;
• In possession of driving license;
• A solution oriented attitude.

The ideal candidate lives in the area of Leicester. Youd workfield is mostly the east and the north of the UK.
