The week on September 13th – 16th, the largest exhibition in the USA for fabrication was held. This exhibition was cancelled due to Covid last year and there were a lot of questions on how attendance would be this year. The attendance was very good and the majority of the people that came had serious projects to discuss.
We were fortunate to move our booth position to the main aisle with all of the large press brake manufacturers. We also positioned our Automated Solutions on the main aisle and received an excellent response to both R-Brake and the Mini Cell. In addition we also demonstrated a 130T E-Brake and a 170T Hybrid Brake.
The North American market is in big demand for automation with the labor shortages we are currently suffering. As a result we have left the exhibition with a long list of prospects to follow up on. The coming months will show just how successful this show was for us!
We can look back on a successful week and thank all visitors for their interest in the SafanDarley machines.
Recently the latest version of the AutoPOL offline bending simulation software has been launched. This version contains a number of new features that make the offline programming of a press brake even more efficient. All registered users have already been able to download the latest version to further optimise production.
Last year we employed 7 students who followed a work-learning course with the REMO West-Twente training institute in Rijssen (NL). The students worked in a variety of production departments within our company, designed to compliment their training. All 7 students have recently received their diplomas.
