With more than 100 years of experience and a clear vision for the future, Meijer Metal deliberately invests in advanced automation. For SafanDarley, Meijer Metal is a strong example of how modern manufacturing companies structurally prepare their production for long-term continuity.
Meijer Metal demonstrates how the SafanDarley R-Brake not only delivers a fully automated bending process, but also forms part of a completely automated production flow from start to finish. Thanks to the integration of fully automated AGVs, the material supply and removal to the welding robots are also fully automated.
Sheet material is automatically transported from the warehouse, bent on the R-Brake and subsequently transferred to the welding robots without any manual intervention. This end-to-end automation enables highly efficient, consistent and even true 24/7 production, exactly what the R-Brake was designed for.
At Meijer Metal, the R-Brake is used, among other applications, for the production of in-house developed tubes for extended pallet forks (ReachForks). Thanks to the high repeatability and process reliability required for this product, the R-Brake proves to be a perfect solution within this fully automated production line.
The long-standing partnership between SafanDarley and Meijer Metal, with no fewer than 14 SafanDarley machines installed, underlines the reliability and scalability of SafanDarley solutions. From stand-alone press brakes to fully automated bending cells, SafanDarley supports manufacturers at every step toward smart, future-ready production.
SafanDarley believes in the power of innovation and efficiency. This year, SafanDarley is present in Hall 11 during EuroBlech, focusing on an effective presentation and introduces a versatile addition to our automated bending solutions with the new Multi Cell.
GS Metaal BV is as specialist in sheet metal working with bending one of their specialities. By choosing the SafanDarley E-Brake Mini Cell, GS Metaal is able, to automate the bending of a wide variety of products up to 900 mm in length in a relatively small area.
